Righteous Babe Records, an ardent supporter of preservation and community activities, decided to convert the abandoned and deteriorating circa 1870’s Asbury Delaware Church into a 1,000 seat performance space along with offices for its headquarters, a lounge and Hallwalls art gallery. Flynn Battaglia Architects restored both the exterior of the building and the interior to be used for performance, recording, conference/event space and offices. The building is now affectionately known as “Babeville” headed by musical artist Ani DiFranco.
