The restoration of the Genesee Gateway block buildings was completed in 2011 including the historic Seeburg Building at the corner of Genesee Street and Oak Street. The upper floors of this building were originally commercial spaces and have been transformed into 3 unique apartments overlooking Genesee Street. The apartments have an open floor plan including a Kitchen, Living and Dining areas. They also include one bedroom with a walk-in closet, a den, and two full baths. Because of the reuse of an existing building, the units needed to be organized to fit as many amenities within the restricted space. The finishes include wood floors in the public spaces, carpet in the bedrooms and den, ceramic tile backsplashes. The restricted floor to ceiling height in the units and varied window sizes was a significant challenge, but resulted in unique apartment.
