Riggs Hall at the SUNY Oswego Campus, originally a three-story flat roofed, concrete and masonry structure constructed in 1960, was completely renovated and re-imaged as a state of the art college residence. The project included updated accommodations, building systems and bright new gathering spaces that take advantage of its spectacular location on Lake Ontario. The plan is substantially update to create new dorm room arrangements and larger toilet facilities. The exterior takes on a much more residential image incorporating trellis details, dormers and a rich variegated brick pattern.
